Lebanon Valley College is pleased to announce that the following students have been accepted for admission at The Valley.

A total of 1,513 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2018 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the Fall 2018 semester.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 945 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2018 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

The following students were names to the Dean's list for the Fall 2018 semester at Grove City College.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

More than 1,740 students have been named to the Fall 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

A total of 472 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at the Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 15 at 9:45 a.m. in Koehler Fieldhouse. There will be 422 bachelor's degrees, 46 master's degrees and four doctoral degree awarded.

Northampton Community College students and staff gathered on Thursday, November 1 to celebrate the release of the fall issue of "The Laconic", their literary and arts magazine.

Dr. Daniel Greenstein, the fifth chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, visited East Stroudsburg University on Friday, November 2 to talk to constituents about the opportunities and challenges facing the University and the State System. Chancellor Greenstein toured the ESU Innovation Center and met with ESU President, Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D.; vice presidents, academic deans, student leaders, faculty and staff leaders, and the ESU Council of Trustees. Chancellor Greenstein also held an open forum with the campus community and the community at large. SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music is preparing to host the world premiere of a groundbreaking new opera, "Mayo," by acclaimed composer Tom Cipullo. The Crane Opera Ensemble and Orchestra will unveil its full production of the Pellicciotti Prize-winning work in a series of performances and special events, from Nov. 8 to 11.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the accomplishments of dozens of students during its 2017-2018 Awards Ceremony. The Cedar Crest College Awards Ceremony is held each year on the day before Commencement.

Delphi is the college's honor society for undergraduate students. Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 at the end of their junior year or their senior year are recognized as members.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the Class of 2018 at its 148th annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 12.

Lebanon Valley College's Student Government is tasked with fostering understanding, communication, and cooperation among students, faculty, and administrators.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed a record-breaking 518 new students this fall, exceeding last year's incoming student group, which was then the largest in the College's history. The fall 2018 class includes an all-time high 473 first-year students and 45 transfers.

The Dean's List recognizes students who have earned a grade point average of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

Wesleyan welcomed 806 new students in the Class of 2022 to campus on August 29.

Lebanon Valley College welcomes 60 students who will participate in the Peer Mentor Program and guide new and transfer students through their first few months at The Valley. Peer mentors are responsible for assisting new students in succeeding personally, socially, and academically through connections to the College and their peers.

Lebanon Valley College named 51 students as Resident Assistants (RA) for the upcoming academic year. An RA oversees a floor or wing in a residence hall, serving as a resource for residential students and providing a residential environment conducive to the overall development of students.

Lebanon Valley College named 15 students as Mosaic Mentors for the upcoming academic year. They will provide direct and dedicated peer support to incoming and transfer ALANA (African/African American, Latina, Asian and Native American), Multicultural Fellowship, Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership, international, and LGBTQ+ identifying students.

Lehigh University is thrilled to officially welcome the Class of 2022.
