More than 1,100 students were eligible for degrees at Coastal Carolina University's commencement May 9 at the HTC Center. Michael J. Gerson, a nationally syndicated political columnist and former aide to President George W. Bush, told graduates not to seek a sense of purpose in fame or worldly success. He advised students to "know who you are, be open to grace, and find the freedom to live lightly and generously." Six students were given the President's Award for having a 4.0 grade point average.

Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2015. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Students from the area were recognized during Widener University's 2015 Honors Week.

The Widener University School of Business Administration recently recognized 21 of its standout students with awards during its annual banquet held March 26 at Harrah's Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees more than 750 on students during the summer, fall and winter terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees since the spring 2014 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Fall 2014 semester. 

The following students have been named to the fall 2014 dean's list at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the fall semester of 2014.

Lebanon Valley College has selected 60 students to serve as Valley Ambassadors. Valley Ambassadors tour prospective students and their families through LVC, where they have the opportunity to see the academic quad, a typical classroom, a dorm room, and the athletic fields, while providing knowledge of The Valley.

Kutztown University has confirmed the graduation of 1,293 students. Commencement exercises were held May 10; however, some students had additional time to complete graduation requirements.

In Commencement exercises on May 20, FDU conferred degrees, ranging from associates to doctorates, on over 3,000 graduates.
